Library Sciences

ursuline centerOnce per week, students in kindergarten through fifth grade visit the Ursuline Center for library class. We follow a library curriculum which includes several different units such as library/research skills, author studies, creative writing projects, readers' theater, folk tale and fractured fairy tales, the poets' corner, research, and biographies.  Children are able to select books to check out of the library to read at home.

Our Ursuline Center is open to Junior High students for research, private study and group projects.  Junior High students also meet weekly for a Study Skills and Executive Functioning Skills preparatory class.
