Girls in STEM Inventive Genius Day

Girls and gender-expansive youth will learn about real-world problems, design and build solutions, and pitch their inventions at the Museum of Science and Industry! Challenges include urban flooding, microplastics, and allergies. Women and gender-expansive experts will share information about the real-world problem, help with designs, and support prototype building. Then, girls and gender-expansive youth will be encouraged to pitch their ideas on-stage (t-shirts awarded for taking the risk)! Throughout the building, STEM professionals will also share examples of the future-forward inventions and innovations they are working on right now.
